The Laboratorio Centro Analisi CAIM Srl has been carrying out its technical, analytical and consulting activities, both in the microbiological and chemical sectors, for 30 years, offering high quality services and valuable support to many companies operating in the food, environmental, oenological and agricultural sectors. It has the most modern analytical equipment such as HPLC with IR, UV-VIS, ion chromatograph, spectrofluorimeter, gas chromatograph coupled with mass spectrometry, FID gas chromatograph, ECD, atomic absorption with hydride analyser, ICP -MS. The two chemical and microbiological sections carry out analytical checks of every kind on any food matrix, on environmental buffers, cosmetics, water, soil, waste. The CAIM srl Analysis Centre has been accredited Accredia ISO/IEC 17025 for ten years. It may issue documents valid for the marketing and export of wines and is entered on the list of Laboratories of the Region of Tuscany authorised to carry out food self-control tests. Training Agency of the C. A. I. M. A. Analysis Centre Srl has been accredited by the Region of Tuscany since 2011 for continuous training activities.

Per l' espletamento della propria attività, il Centro Analisi C.A.I.M. Srl si avvale di personale interno e consulenti esterni altamente qualificati con competenze specifiche in diverse aree tecniche ed organizzative. Il team working fa capo a laureati in chimica, biotecnologie agro-alimentari, scienze ambientali e biologiche che garantiscono la massima professionalità; l' ambiente giovane ed estremamente dinamico gli consente di rispondere a qualsiasi richiesta proveniente dai più svariati settori, con un servizio accurato, affidabile e veloce. Dispone delle più moderne apparecchiature analitiche come HPLC con rivelatori IR, UV-VIS, cromatografo ionico, spettrofluorimetro, gascromatografo accoppiato alla spettrometria di massa, gascromatografo FID, ECD, assorbimento atomico con analizzatore di idruri, ICP -MS. Con le sue due sezioni, chimica e microbiologica, effettua controlli analitici di ogni tipo su qualsiasi matrice alimentare, su tamponi ambientali, cosmetici, acque, terreni, rifiuti. Grazie all' autorizzazione del Ministero delle Politiche Agricole, è in grado di rilasciare documenti validi per la commercializzazione ed esportazione dei vini e vanta l' iscrizione nell' elenco dei Laboratori della Regione Toscana autorizzati ad eseguire prove ai fini dell' autocontrollo alimentare. L'Agenzia Formativa del Centro Analisi C.A.I.M. Srl , creata per rispondere all' esigenza di disporre di strumenti flessibili in grado di far fronte tempestivamente alle necessità espresse dal mondo del lavoro, è stata accreditata nel 2011 dalla Regione Toscana per attività di formazione continua (codice accreditamento n° GR0975). E' in grado di fornire formazione a tutti i livelli: dall' Obbligo Formativo, ai Corsi di Specializzazione, dalla Formazione continua e/o permanente per i soggetti occupati ai Percorsi formativi a favore di adulti disoccupati, o inattivi con titoli di studio medio bassi , fino a stabilire partnership con Università, o altri Enti per realizzare Master o aggiornamenti mirati e ad alto livello.

Centro CAIM srl carries out chemical and microbiological analyses for analytical control services and research for public bodies, universities, private companies, as well as carrying out analytical checks for feasibility studies.
The advanced analytical instrumentation allows to carry out many microbiological, chemical and ecotoxicological controls foreseen by the regulations of the food, environmental and oenological sectors on numerous matrices (food, feed and fodder, wine and oil (also for export), containers and packaging for food, soil and leaves, drinking water, surface and underground water, wastewater, waste and aggregates, compost, sludge and sediments).
